Maine Senior FarmShare

The Maine Senior Farm Share provides income-eligible older adults the opportunity to receive $50 of local produce at no cost from Maine farmers during the growing season. To participate in this program, you must sign up with a participating farm. 

2025-2026 Eligibility Requirements

Please understand that meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee you a FarmShare.

To participate in the Maine Senior FarmShare Program you must:

  • Be a Maine resident
  • Be 60 years old or older (55 years old or older for Native Americans)
  • Be 18 years old or older with a disability and currently living in housing facilities occupied primarily by older individuals where congregate nutrition services are provided
  • Meet the 2025-2026 Income Guidelines:
    • Maximum of $28,953/per year for a one-person household; or
    • Maximum of $39,128/per year for a two-person household
