Sam L. Cohen Center Featured in Wall Street Journal

June 3, 2016 (Biddeford, ME) – On June 3rd, The Sam L. Cohen Center was featured in a story in the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) about family caregiving and the need as the elderly population grows. Jennifer Levitz, reporter for the WSJ visited the Center and interviewed Stan Defreese, who with his wife, are the sole caregivers for his mother, Velma. Velma is one of our members at the Sam L. Cohen Center.  Stan shared his thoughts on the challenges of caregiving.  Maria and Ralph Bouvier were also featured in the article. The Bouviers are relocating to NH to live with their son, as Maria is no longer able to care for Ralph by herself. We thank the families who shared their poignant stories on this important topic.
