Accounting Assistant

The Southern Maine Agency on Aging in Scarborough has an opening for a part-time (20 – 30 hours per week, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.)  The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Accounting Manager in the areas of accounts payable/receivable, deposits, billing, and payroll.  Candidate must have a Associates Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.  Exceptionally strong computer skills required with proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word and computerized accounting systems. This position offers potential for job growth.
