Today, older adults have many options for long-term care, including a variety of programs and services that provide enough assistance to enable seniors to live independently well into their senior years. Realistically, sifting through the many programs and services and then, coordinating home care services can be overwhelming and time consuming challenge.
Senior Solutions’ Elder Care Managers work with seniors and/or their families to help identify the programs and services needed. Senior Solutions does not provide direct, hands-on care. Rather, we provide an unbiased source of guidance that can help seniors and their families make informed choices about purchasing appropriate long-term care services.
How We Work
First, give us a call. A Senior Solutions Elder Care Manager will work with you to determine your needs or those of the senior in your family. Then, drawing on our extensive knowledge of options available in your area, your Elder Care Manager will put together an easy-to-understand plan of recommendations to meet your health and home care needs. Your Elder Care Manager will help you make choices that meet your needs and fit your budget. Once you’ve decided which services you want, your Elder Care Manager will put the plan to work for you by scheduling services and following up to see if adjustments are needed.

- Screen and manage any hired, in-home help
- Consult (on your behalf) with your physician, medical care facility, lawyer or financial advisor
- Plan for future needs
Elder Care Manager Credentials
Elder Care Managers are licensed social workers with geriatric care experience and are members of the National Association of Geriatric Care Managers.
Fees
The fee for an Elder Care Manager is $85/hour. Long-term care insurance may help cover some or all of the costs of the health or home care services needed.
