SMAA’s Congregate Housing Services Program (CHSP) continues to offer independent living with supportive services including: service coordination, weekly homemaking, and a daily meal. Service options are offered for consumers to help them remain independent. The program includes the following sites in Portland and Sanford:

North School	Village View	Deering Pavilion
Sunset Towers	Loring House	Northfield Green
Franklin Towers	Harbor Terrace	Washington Gardens

While the cost of home care services has risen, funding has remained constant; therefore the number of people served by the program has been reduced to 34. Presently there is a waiting list of over 30.
