Announcement: New Family Caregiver "Topic" Support Group in Scarborough

Scarborough, Maine—Caregiver support groups at the Southern Maine Agency on Aging will now offer information on a specific topic followed by open discussion. Feel free to drop in!

Upcoming topics include:

  • September 25: “Caregiving, Stress and Your Health,” Noon-1:00
  • October 23: “Talking To Healthcare Providers,” Noon-1:00
  • November 20: “Family Meetings and Negotiating,” Noon-1:00
  • December 18: “Facing the Holiday Blues,” Noon-1:00

This is a casual, drop-in group. Meetings are usually held the 4th Thursday of each month from 12-1 PM at SMAA, 136 US Route One, Scarborough. (November and December groups will be held on the third Thursdays due to conflicts with holidays.) Questions can be directed to Kate Dulac at 396-6558. New members are always welcome! Please feel free to bring your lunch!
