What is Money Minders?
The Money Minders Program is sponsored by the Southern Maine Agency on Aging in collaboration with AARP.
The goal of the Money Minders Program is to offer clients sufficient help with financial matters so that they can continue to live independently and worry-free.
The Money Minders Program provides bonded, carefully screened and trained volunteers to give confidential help, but all financial decisions about the handling of a participant's money will be made by the participant.
Participants sign their own checks and retain full control of their bank accounts and other assets.
What We Do
All services are provided in the privacy of the participant's own home.
What We Don't Do
Whom Does The Program Serve?
The Money Minders Program serves elderly and disabled persons in York and Cumberland counties who remain in control of their finances but need some help keeping things in order.

Participants in the Money Minders Program are given the opportunity to make a donation to support the program, but making a donation is not required.
