Legacy Society
The Legacy Society honors individuals who make a gift to the Southern Maine Agency on Aging’s endowment of $2,000 or more and/or make a planned gift.
While the Society is relatively new, the impact of members’ bequests have been significant. A major bequest from Loraine Merrill, for example, provides for innovation and new initiatives, as well as a rose for every Meals on Wheels participant on Valentines Day.
The Legacy Society Benefits
The Legacy Society recognizes donors with a lapel pin and a listing in the Annual Report of Gifts. Members are also invited to Southern Maine Agency for Aging’s activities and events and kept informed about our achievements and strategic plans by letters from the Executive Director.
