Maine Senior Games
For many, the thrill of competing in an athletic event never ends. Thanks to Maine Senior Games, adults over the age of 45 can continue to participate and compete in annual athletic and recreational events. Maine Senior Games is a great opportunity for older adults to have fun and stay fit.

Join us for a day of fun and competition. The 1st Annual Pickleball Classic to benefit the Maine Senior Games is on Saturday, April 26 from 8:30am to 3pm and will be held at USM in Gorham. Register today.
Maine Senior Games hosts annual athletic events for adults over the age of 45 from anywhere in the United States and Canada. (you must be 45 by the last day of the year you are competing in). This is the 28th annual event and the dates are June through September.

Maine Senior Games is a member of the U.S. National Senior Games Association, which hosts national athletic competitions every other year. Senior athletes who qualify at the state level, have the opportunity to compete at the national level—the largest multi-sport event in the world for seniors.
To qualify, you must be 50 years old during the qualifying year (the year prior to the national competition).

Eligibility and Age Groups
The Maine Senior Games is open to anyone 45 years of age or older. (You must be 45by December 31, 2014). Competition will be held in the following twelve age groups for men and women. Age group placement is determined by your age as of December 31.
45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, and 100+
This year, 2014, we are going to open many events to those ages 45-49.
Registration and Registration Fees
Medals are presented to the top three places, ribbon for fourth.. Awards will be presented as soon as results are posted and/or announced at each event, or may be picked up at the Maine Senior Games office during the week following the event.
