The Southern Maine Agency on Aging helps seniors—and their families—sort through the many programs and services available to help older adults live independently well into their senior years. Our social workers work with seniors—and their families—by phone or in-person to provide information, support and referrals.

How Our Social Workers Can Help

The Southern Maine Agency on Aging’s social workers are well-qualified individuals who can provide information, resources, support and referrals.

Our Social Workers are masters or baccalaureate prepared, licensed with geriatric experience, and well-versed in issues affecting seniors as well as the programs and services to help.
