Administrative Assistant
Southern Maine Agency on Aging is seeking a part time (20 hours per week) Administrative Assistant for its Nutrition Program. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties and responsibilities within the Nutrition department. 

Essential duties and responsibilities include fielding calls and inquiries from clients, interacting with meal sites and clients, taking care of cash for accounting and receipt of payments, preparing and completing data entry for Harmony database, and assisting with support and engagement of Nutrition Administrative Support Volunteers.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
Qualifications include: At least two years of prior office/administrative experience.  Experience working with older adults preferred. Expertise in Microsoft Office software and data bases such as Volunteer Reporter and SAMS. Demonstrated organizational skills. Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills.  Must have judgment and initiative to work independently and manage priorities with minimal guidance.
